Harvard Graduate Council (HGC) Representative
Amelia Schubach
Hello! I am Amelia Schubach, a Master of Public Health (Health Management-45) candidate and your Harvard T.H. Chan School’s (HSPH) representative on the Harvard Graduate Council (HGC). Growing up half Japanese, half Australian bestowed a personal commitment to inclusivity, understanding nuance and building community. Coupled with my experience as a lawyer, I’m in a unique and privileged position to be a thoughtful advocate on your behalf, to articulate through complexity, co-create solutions and foster connection. Like us, each Harvard Graduate School houses the leaders of tomorrow and as your HGC representative, my goal is to bring us all closer together. In doing so, I hope to play a small part in expanding each of your conceptions of what is possible in the world. This role is nothing without the HSPH student body and I will always hold a safe space for input and ideation. Together, we will actualize a more vibrant, interconnected, and thriving community at HSPH and beyond.
Fun Fact:
I am half Japanese!
