Academic Program Representative: Master of Public Health, 45 credits
Mateo Diaz-Quiroz
Hola! I’m Mateo Diaz-Quiroz from Colombia, currently pursuing an MPH in Global Health at Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health. I am honored to serve as the Academic Program Representative for the MPH-45 cohort. As a medical doctor, I’ve dedicated my career to improving health equity, particularly with vulnerable communities in Colombia. In recent years, I have worked closely with Indigenous leaders, creating projects to strengthen their Traditional and Intercultural Health Systems, while also developing planetary health interventions. Currently, I am a Research Scholar at the Health Systems Innovation Lab, contributing to the High Value Health Systems project. On a personal note, I come from a beautiful family that has instilled in me values of respect, transparency, and service. I look forward to supporting my colleagues at Harvard and continuing our work to advance health equity around the world.
